“The fact that the National Union of County Councils is a heard and respected voice in the public area, an honest and competent partner for the central administration and a support for the administrative-territorial units, is due to the contribution of each county council president, the expertise, the dedicated time and the efforts we all made every day in order to increase the relevance and efficiency of our organization. Regardless of the name of the person who led the Union (…), the leadership has always been exercised for the common benefit of the counties and the citizens. I sincerely hope that our current activity will matter in another 30 years, too!”, said the President of the Union, Adrian Ioan Veștea.
