At the end of a long and meticulous rebranding process for its organisational brand, image and philosophy, the Federation of European Accountants marked the day of 7 December 2016 celebrating 30 years of existence by launching a new name and logo:
The redesigned image consists of a new name, ‘Accountancy Europe.’, a new logo – the letter ‘A’ that clearly indicates the Accountants, Auditors and Advisors represented by the professional body, but also an umbrella (the role played by Accountancy Europe in the unity if its constituents), an arrow (suggesting accurracy and efficiency) or a megaphone, – and a double-meaning motto: Because people count.
At the same time, on 7 December 2016 the Members’ Assembly Meeting was organised in Brussels, where Edelfried Schneider was elected as the new president of Accountancy Europe and Morten Speitzer was elected as Deputy President.
