The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Bulgaria (ICPA) hosted on the 28th of November 2016, in Sofia, a series of events dedicated to its 20th Anniversary, celebrating on the same occasion the 85th anniversary of independent financial audit in Bulgaria, and 25 years since the restoration of the auditing profession.
The festive events included a speech by ICPA President, Mr. Boiko Kostov, an awarding ceremony, a film about the Institute, as well as greetings by correspondent bodies’ representatives.
The salute from CECCAR and the Romanian accounting profession was delivered to the hosts and the audience, together with an anniversary plate, by Mr. Andrei Badiu, member of the CECCAR Superior Council.
