The IFRS Foundation has recently published a new video filmed during the annual World Standard-setters Meeting in London, 26 September 2016 (event which gathers representatives of world-wide standard-setting bodies, together with the IASB team), that discussed the relationship between national standard-setting bodies, regional organisations and the International Accounting Standards Board.
Felipe Peréz Cervantes, Linda Mezon, Christina Ng, Jim Obazee, Kris Peach, Bee Leng Tan and Andrew Watchman are uttering their views on the role of national standard-setters and of regional groups in the work to develop IFRS Standards as a worldwide financial reporting language.
