Draft Emergency Ordinance for the Amendment of the Fiscal Code and of the Tax Code published on the Ministry of Public Finance Website.

Further to the consultations held with the business sector and the associations in the industry, the Ministry of Public Finance (MFP) is coming forward with a new set of measures that are designed to amend the Fiscal Code and the Tax Code as well as other legislative acts.

For this purpose, MFP has launched a public debate on the Draft emergency ordinance for amending and supplementing the Law no.227/2015 on the Fiscal Code, the Law no.207/2015 on the Tax Code, as well as or the regulation of certain financial and fiscal measures. The project is available on the Ministry website.

The measures required by the Draft Ordinance are aiming at simplifying the procedures both for natural persons and for legal persons, supporting the business sector and the investment process, as well as eliminating certain restrictions and imbalances.

Among the proposals included in the text of the draft legislative act relating to natural persons, we note the modernization of the tax and fees management system by facilitating the online submittal of the 10, 101, 300, 301, and 394 statements.

For legal persons, the Ministry is proposing, among others, certain actions that are supposed to support the investment process by expanding the tax exemption to reinvested profit and to the right to use in IT software.

In order to support the Ministry initiative to bring simplifications, to develop budgetary transparency and to update the tax and fees management system, we are requesting our members and all interested parties to send any amendments/supplements to the Fiscal Code and the Tax Code by email at soc@ceccaro.ro.
