The Institute of Accountants and Auditors of Montenegro (IAAM) was established in 1956 as the Association of Accountants of Montenegro and is has been, ever since, the professional body that manages professional accountants, management accountants and bookkeepers in this country. In 2016, the Institute of Montenegro is celebrating 60 years of existence, marking this jubilee through a series of events and ceremonies held on 5-7 October 2016 in Podgorica.
On this occasion, the host body took their guests not only on a journey in the history of the professional body, but also into the history and culture of Montenegro.
The Body of Expert and Licensed Accountants of Romania honoured the invitation received from the homologue institution, our representative being the President of the CECCAR Timis Branch who also delivered an official congratulation address and an anniversary plate on behalf of the Romanian accounting profession.
