The Body of Expert and Licensed Accountants of Romania is among top six member organizations of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) in terms of its contribution to the international federation’s efforts to develop a future-ready profession by translating and publicizing the publications issued by the Federation and the standard-setting Commissions: the IESBA, IAASB and IPSASB, according to a statement issued by IFAC.
CECCAR’s position emphasizes the active involvement of the professional body in the promotion of the profession, in the continuing professional development of its members by making available, in Romanian, the materials developed by IFAC.
According to IFAC, this year, 364 translations of IFAC publications and review materials, as well as IAASB, IESBA and IPSASB standards, have been published in 35 languages.
