On October 23, IFAC released the Summary of the 2018 Global SMP Survey, conducted during March-May 2018 in 24 languages (including Romanian), which received over 6,000 responses representing 150 countries.
According to the press release issued by IFAC, 28% of SMPs plan to allocate more than 10% of their revenue over the next year for technology investments, with a focus on the development of in-house expertise in IT and the adoption of cloud options to better serve clients.
The survey reveals attracting new talent as a top challenge for SMPs, 54% of the respondents having difficulties in this regard, the main reason cited (66%) being the lack of candidates with the right mix of skills.
