The 33rd International Seminar of the Committee for Latin Integration Europe-America: The First French-Latin-American Market Place

On the 9th of March 2017, the Order of Expert Accountants in France and the National Association of Statutory Auditors in France co-hosted with the Committee for Latin Integration Europe-America, the Latin-American Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris Ile-de-France and MEDEF (The Movement of the Enterprises of France) the 33rd edition of the International Seminar of Latin countries: The First French-Latin-American Market Place. This seminar is part of the European CILEA member bodies’ strategy for international cooperation with Latin-American countries and aimed at achieving the following: building a business strategy with Latin America, assuring the access to high-quality consultancy services and establishing first contacts with the business environment.

On this occasion, European enterprises were presented business opportunities from the point of view of exports and imports, but also the regulating framework for transactions and payments worldwide, particularly the means of identifying cooperation pipelines for the avoidance of double taxation.

The event open by the presidents of the host-bodies (the CSOEC President, Philippe Arraou, the CNCC President, Jean Bouquot, and Gustavo Gil Gil, the CILEA President) received officials from the Argentinian, Bolivian, Columbian, Ecuadorian, Guatemalan and Uruguayan embassies and was attended by delegates of CILEA member bodies.

The international seminar was followed on the 10th of March by the CILEA Council Meeting where the CECCAR President, Professor Robert Aurelian Șova, PhD was also present as CILEA Council vice-president. This meeting was held at the headquarters of the Superior Council of the Order of Expert Accountants in France and had on its agenda, among other matters, the Committee strategy and activity plan for 2016 – 2018.
