In a short interview promoted by the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), Joy Thomas, President and CEO of CPA Canada and IFAC Board Member, is talking about diversity and inclusion in the accountancy profession and in the business environment. As Ms Thomas states, the business sector and enterprises need to ensure the right communication channels between the members of their organisations, horizontally, and between their employees and senior management: “Not only is [diversity and inclusion] the right thing to do but it is a business imperative.”
