The Roundtable will discuss the EC’s Cross Border Ruling (CBR) Pilot Scheme. We consider that the scheme allows business to reduce uncertainty in the VAT treatment when considering cross-border transactions and, as such, represents a very useful facility both for business and taxation authorities. FEE believes that the CBR scheme should be continued and expanded and further publicised so that SMEs are also aware of the scheme and encouraged to use it.
