The Body of Expert and Licensed Accountants of Romania (CECCAR) – the professional body that manages the accounting profession in Romania – organises the 19th<\/sup> edition of the National Day of the Romanian Accountant on July 13th<\/sup> in the 41 counties and Bucharest. The most important event in Romania dedicated to the accounting profession will be celebrated, held under the slogan Tradition for the future. Evolving together!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\r\n \u201dThis is the 19th<\/sup> year in which<\/span><\/p>\r\n \u00a0the event brings to the fore the accounting profession in our country, highlighting its importance for the economic environment and society. On this occasion, professional accountants will be joined by representatives of institutions and regulators, the business and educational environment, to discuss the topic Forensic accounting: the truth behind the numbers<\/em>. <\/em>Discussions will focus on the critical role of forensic accounting in helping organisations safely navigate in today`s complex, uncertain and volatile financial and economic environment,\u201d said Elena-Ecaterina Chivu, president of the Superior Council of CECCAR,.<\/span><\/p>\r\n \u201dFinancial fraud is a current challenge that affects the economic security of business and even of the country. How can we fight it? Forensic accounting tools and instruments prevent, detect and investigate financial fraud. The role of forensic accounting in fighting economic cri<\/span><\/p>\r\n me and corruption, and also the role of forensic accounting in corporate governance are the topics that we will discuss together – freelance professional accountants and representatives of the business environment, institutions and regulators, and academic environment – within the panel,\u201d said Prof. Robert-Aurelian \u0218ova, PhD, spokesperson and vice-president of Superior Council of CECCAR.<\/span><\/p>\r\n The National Day of the Romania<\/span><\/p>\r\n n Accountant is also an opportunity to publicly highlight the results of the work of expert and licensed accountants, awarding them within the Local Top of CECCAR Members at every territorial branch level.
