The Ministry of Finance (MF) published today in decisional transparency a Draft GEO on certain fiscal measures, a document which, according to its initiators, will have a positive impact on the business environment, among other things, by improving the legal framework regarding the obligation to obtain authorization as an authorized importer. The draft provides for amendments to several legal acts.
► Regarding Law No. 239/2025, the amendment aims to strengthen fiscal discipline, namely by consolidating the mechanisms for ensuring the recovery of tax liabilities owed by taxpayers. Thus, the scope of the application of the provisions of Article V is extended by removing the reference to control. It also provides for the necessary technical correlation in the given context regarding the reference to the control percentage.
