Accountancy Europe – Members’ Assembly, 19 June, Brussels

On 19 June 2019, representatives of Accountancy Europe’s member bodies met in Brussels in order to assess the measures and actions undertaken during the first half of the year.

During the event, the discussions focused on the progress of the project review of the organization’s financing model, the events organized by Accountancy Europe and meetings with European officials concerning sustainable finance, taxation and SMEs.

 The Members’ Assembly meeting, chaired by Florin Toma, president in office and CECCAR member, was the only statutory meeting held this year. The Members’ Assembly approved, among others, the minutes of the March meeting, the treasurer’s report for 2018 and the 2020 Budget, the appointment of the auditor for the period 2019-2021, while also accepting Wirtschaftsprüferkammer (WPK) from Germany as a new full member.
