The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants Reporting has recently published a report on Integrated Reporting „The Insights into Integrated Reporting” based on a survey of 41 corporate reports from around the world.
The report highlights several benefits of adopting integrated reporting: more integrated thinking and management; greater clarity on business issues and performance; improved corporate reputation and stakeholder relationships; more efficient reporting; employee engagement and improved gross margins.
The paper also identifies areas where reporting can be improved, including: value creation, connectivity, defining performance measures, materiality, conciseness, reliability and completeness.
