The Body of Expert and Licensed Accountants of Romania (CECCAR) – the professional body that manages the accounting profession in Romania – organises the 19th edition of the National Day of the Romanian Accountant on July 13th in the 41 counties and Bucharest. The most important event in Romania dedicated to the accounting profession will be celebrated, held under the slogan Tradition for the future. Evolving together!

the event brings to the fore the accounting profession in our country, highlighting its importance for the economic environment and society. On this occasion, professional accountants will be joined by representatives of institutions and regulators, the business and educational environment, to discuss the topic Forensic accounting: the truth behind the numbers. Discussions will focus on the critical role of forensic accounting in helping organisations safely navigate in today`s complex, uncertain and volatile financial and economic environment,” said Elena-Ecaterina Chivu, president of the Superior Council of CECCAR,.

The National Day of the Romania

Thus, the performance of accounting expertise and accounting companies, as well as of expert accountants and licensed accountants, are recognised as an appreciation of their contribution to the development of the profession and the business environment in the public interest.
